Frequently Asked Questions

Have you had a security breach at your office? Or perhaps you’re newly in business and have been advised to look into getting security bins to keep confidential information from getting into the wrong hands?

If you have read our previous blog post about document fraud and identity theft you know that identity crime is an escalating problem.

Securing sensitive documents is a lot easier than you may first realise. Here we answer many of the questions that new clients ask us about using our security bins.

Q. How big are the bins and how much do they hold?

Our bins are 240 litres. That means that each bin holds the equivalent of 6 standard archive boxes, or one 4 drawer filing cabinet.

Q. What CAN go into the document bins?

Paper of course can go into the bins as well as manila folders. You might be surprised to know that staples, paperclips and rubber bands can also go into the bins so there is no need to remove any of those from your documents.

Q. What CANNOT go into the document bins?

Paper products that CANNOT go into the document bins are cardboard, newspapers and magazines. WebbOther common office supplies that CANNOT go into the bins are bulldog clips, plastic, food, DVD’s, CD’s, floppy disks, X-Rays, photos, hard drives etc.

Q. Is there a minimum amount of bins we need to order?

No. You can order one bin or multiple bins.

Q. How long can we keep the bin/s for?

You can keep the bins for a maximum 4 weeks onsite without incurring further charges.

Q. Do we have to keep the bins for the full 4 weeks?

No. You can have the bins collected earlier if you have finished with them, depending on the days we service your area.  Just call us to book an early collection.

Q. Can we fill the bins and have them removed on the same day?

Yes. We can deliver, load and remove the bins on the same day. Just confirm with us that this is what you want to do when you make your booking.
